UrbanEast Developments, Inc. in Davao City is looking for:
1 – Civil Engineer
- Licensed civil engineer, with driver’s license (motor vehicle and/or motorcycle)
- Must have at least two (2) years of actual site experience in horizontal and/or vertical construction (those with experience especially in residential subdivision land development and residential and commercial building construction will be given top priority)
- Land development may encompass road preparation and concreting, drainage network construction, water supply systems, clearing and grading earthworks, construction of low-, medium-, and high-cost housing, etc.)
- Must be a highly organized and detail-oriented individual able to execute effective construction and project operations management at land development and building construction sites
- Must be able to implement best practices in general construction and engineering operations
- Must be already capable and qualified, or has the potential and willingness, to work in a supervisorial capacity at assigned actual project site
- All sites are within Davao City
- Must also be able to perform related planning and documentation functions. Periodic office/ tablework is required.
- Must be resourceful and be very familiar with the local (Davao City) building and construction industry
- Must be proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications
- Must be effective in interacting with all project stakeholders (contractors, workers, regulatory bodies and inspectors, suppliers, property buyers/ owners, etc.)
2 – Repair Assistant
- Candidate must possess at least a High School Diploma. Those with vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificates will be prioritized. Must be a skilled construction worker with at least 2 years of working experience in general building or construction; preferably exposed to multiple activities (e.g. carpentry/ masonry, electrical, painting, welding, plumbing/ sanitary, etc.).
- CANDIDATES MUST BE HEALTHY AND be physically fit. The role entails full-time construction work.
- CANDIDATES MUST WILLING TO live on-site in temporary facilities of construction sites.
- With Good Moral Character and hardworking.
- Can work with minimum supervision and can start immediately.
3 – Property Management Officer
- Male, with valid driver’s license (4-wheel and motorcycle).
- Must be based in the SOUTH AREA (Toril most ideal).
- Must have at least two (2) years of actual work experience in driving manual vehicles.
- Full-time employed, including Saturdays. All work assigned will be within Davao City.
- Must be able and willing to perform various works (multi-tasking) in a property management setting (subdivision maintenance works including landscaping, swimming pool maintenance, etc.).
- You must be of good health; works are primarily site-based.
- Must be able to report to work at 7:30AM daily and render paid overtime if and when necessary.
- Must be able to perform janitorial work and common maintenance/ utility functions.
- Applicants must have a pleasing personality and able to interact with people well.
4 – Disbursements Accounting Officer
- Accountancy, Bookkeeping, Finance, or Accounting Technology graduate.
- Fresh board passers/ newly Certified Public Accountants (new CPAs) are welcome to apply.
- At least two (2) years of meaningful work experience in accounting, auditing, tax compliance, and/or bookkeeping functions.
- Familiarity with the construction and/or real estate industries is a major advantage.
- Previous experience with accounting and/or auditing firms also an advantage. Must be willing to work on a full-time employment basis (half day on Saturdays).
- Those with actual and direct experience with disbursements transactions processing and recording, vouchering, check preparation, payables processing, petty cash management, disbursements releasing and liquidation monitoring, payment documentation, electronic/ online banking transaction processing, and bank reconciliations will be prioritized.
- The applicant must be familiar with the manual system of accounting recording, ledgering, and bookkeeping and must be a highly skilled and capable user of MS Excel. The applicant must be very analytical, organized, and detail-oriented and must have a strong sense of ownership, responsibility, and accountability over their work and reports produced.
- The applicant must be able to adapt well under pressure due to scheduled deadlines. The applicant must be a quick learner and a fast worker, and willing to multi-task.
- The applicant must be able to deliver optimal results under minimal supervision and is expected to immediately assume the assigned role with minimal training.
