Riofil Corporation is looking for the following to fill our vacant positions for a Jetty Port Project in Tagloan, Misamis Oriental.
1 – Project Accountant
Can start immediately
The Project Accountant is responsible for the accounting process and transactions at the project site and coordinates with the Accounting Department in Central Office (Pasig City).
- Processes payables of the project
- Reviews and checks the pertinent documents attached to billings
- Prepares billing invoices and contract receivables vouchers
- Updates progress billing monitoring
- Follows up receivables to clients
- Prepares general journal vouchers
- Updates and monitors subcon-ledger
- Checks and reconciles monthly revenue and expenses to subsidiary ledger
- Prepares revenue & expenses summary from commencement to completion for the project assignment
- Prepares and monitors advances of the employees of the project
- Files relevant documents and prepares reports
- Liaises and transacts bank-related matters to the bank
Job Specification:
- Education: Graduate of any 4 year accounting related course
- Experience: At least 1 year experience in the same capacity. Preferably with background in construction industry.
- Skills: Knowledgeable in different accounting software. Must be organized and detail oriented. Proficient in Microsoft
2 – Project Nurse
Can start immediately
The Project Nurse is an Occupational Health Personnel (OH) engaged to provide occupational health services in the project site or workplace. Assists in the implementation of the health and safety programs of the company.
- Provides nursing care to employees in their workplace in case of illness
- Gives medicines and first aid care to employees, if condition worsens, coordinates with the accredited hospital
- Provides opinion in case an employee / patient will require medical leave
- Assess the condition of the patient and determine the amount of leave the patient should be given
- In case of compensation and disability claims, assess the condition of the employee and provide information to the company
- Assists in the health and safety standard in the company and see if any work conditions for the employees are hazardous
- Instructs and guides first aid providers in carrying out a variety of tasks
- Maintains the inventory and inspection of the medicines and other medical equipment
- Monitors employee physical well-being such as BMI, vital signs, regular blood pressure and weight for recording and reporting purposes
- Submits reports to management on all employees that were given treatment
- Prepares weekly, monthly and annual health statistics report
- Maintains confidential health related files and records of employees, sub-contractors, etc. and information as required by local government units or as needed
- Draft occupational health programs related to the morbidity incidents, health consultations of personnel and demographics of health status of the covered area based on age, work exposure, lifestyle and the likes
Jobs Specification:
- Education: Graduate of BS Nursing, registered nurse
- Experience: With experience in the same capacity. With background in construction industry. With related experience in implementation of safety policy and procedure
- Skills: Preferably with 40 hours basic OSH training course for OH Nurses. At least attended first aid, basic life support (BLS) or similar training
3 – QA/QC Engineer
The Engineer II (QA/QC) performs and coordinates with inspections and determines quality assurance testing and quality control. Prepares, documents and executes detailed test plans, test cases and defects report.
- Determine standards to perform inspection and tests on procedures and oversees all testing methods and maintain high standards of quality for all processes
- Conducts site inspection and ensures that works are done based on approved specifications, methods and shop drawings
- Reviews the quality of all materials at site and collaborates with other departments regarding material procurement and quality of materials
- Supervises test and inspection schedule and ensure adherence to standard procedures
- Assists with employees to ensure knowledge of all quality standards and ensure compliance to all quality manual and procedures and collaborate with subcontractors and suppliers to maintain the quality of all systems
- Assists in the development of project quality management system by establishing procedure, plans and work instructions
- Checks the non-conformity and findings at site and prepare necessary reports
- Establishes work standard at site
Job Specification:
- Education: Graduate of BS Civil Engineering, preferably Registered Civil Engineer
- Experience: At least 3 years of experience in project construction. With related job experience in quality control/quality assurance and documentation.
- Skills: Knowledgeable in welding, concrete or similar inspections. Results-oriented. With strong problem-solving skills.
4 – Civil Engineer (Site)
The Civil Engineer performs tasks related to project supervision, ensuring project is completed within the approved budget and schedule without compromising safety and quality standards. Liaise and supervise main and sub-contractors ensuring construction plans and schedules are met.
- Supervises construction manpower ensuring the project is completed on time, within the budget, safely and within the quality standards
- Monitors and updates monthly progress and accomplishment of the project
- Assists in the preparation of project bids and proposals that shows costs and timelines for the project
- Prepares daily monthly and other reports relevant to the project
- Coordinates with subcontractors regarding project issues and concerns
- Evaluates the subcontractor’s claims
- Records and maintains relevant project documents
- Participates in solving technical issues and providing advice on possible solutions
- Ensures that health, safety and security policies are being followed
- Ensures that quality standards and workmanship are being followed
Job Specification:
- Education: Graduate of BS Civil Engineering, preferably Registered Civil Engineer
- Experience: At least two years of experience in project construction. With experience in project supervision, planning and scheduling and budget schedules
- Skills: Results-oriented. With strong problem-solving skills.
5 – Civil Engineer (Planning and Scheduling)
The Civil Engineer (planning and scheduling) provides project schedule for a project and to ensure that the construction deadlines are met. Works closely with site engineers and managers to ensure project runs on schedule and materials are sufficient.
- Create and manages the construction schedule from post bid to construction
- Collaborates with site engineers, managers of all trades in the realization of construction deadlines
- Monitors the progress of the subcontractor’s work in relation to the scheduled construction plan
- Monitors and updates monthly progress and accomplishment of the project
- Records and maintians relevant project documents
- Consolidates daily, weekly and monthly reports data from site engineers
Job Specification:
- Education: Graduate of BS Civil Engineering, preferably Registered Civil Engineer
- Experience: At least two years of experience in project construction. With experience in project supervision, planning and scheduling and budget schedules (S-curve)
- Skills: Knowledgeable in planning software such as MS Project, Primavera, etc. Results-oriented. With strong problem-solving skills.
6 – Foreman
The Foreman supervises direct workers in his/her assigned area. Assists the General Foreman in ensuring the project is in accordance with the company’s safety and quality standards, quality materials are requested and delivered on time and the project is completed within budget
- Assists in monitoring the completeness of manpower deployed in his/her area of assignment
- Checks and reports available items/materials needed in the project
- Assists in the performance review of workers under his/her supervision
- Works with the General Foreman in ensuring the adherence to safety regulations
- Inspects work environment and equipment to ensure safety
- Assists in the preparation of preliminary incident report and other relevant reports
- Make assignments to workers according to their skill sets
- Assists in the preparation of progress report and estimated output in his/her specific area of assignment
Job Specification:
- Education: At least high school graduate
- Experience: At least five years of work experience in the same capacity gained from construction industry. able to handle all trades in construction works.
- Skills: General construction works.
7 – Rigger
The Rigger is responsible in setting up the equipment parts necessary to keep the vessel functioning.
- Set up the pieces of equipment necessary to keep the vessel functioning: ropes, pulleys, winches and cables
- Installs accessories in motorboats: drill holes, attaches brackets and installs accessories such as lights, batteries, ignition switches, fuel tanks and guide pulleys
- Ensure slings, shackles, rigging, tools and materials are in good working condition and are put away once tasks are completed
- Change propellers and adjust motors to obtain maximum performance
- Works on rigging objects to be moved or lifted
- Oversee dismantling and storing of rigging equipment after use
- Help operate machines that move heavy objects used to build and take down steel structures
- Manipulates rigging lines, hoists and pulling hears to move or support materials such as heavy equipment barges and other items
- Responsible for refusing unsafe work and for carrying out all work in accordance with the established safety standards and work practices
Job Specification:
- Education: At least high school graduate.
- Experience: At least three years of relevant experience
- Skills: With TESDA NCI for rigging. Ability to judge distances. Excellent rigging hand signaling skills.
8 – Instrument Man
The instrument man is responsible for carrying out surveys in the field under the guidance of the surveyor. Assists in the completion of all surveys and construction staking of engineering designs.
- Utilizes the total station, theodolite, automatic level, level of rod, prism pole or tape at designated points to assist in determining location and elevations of various features
- Layout stakes for construction on land and other surveys
- Cuts and clears brush and tress from line of survey
- Carry instruments, field equipment, hammers, stakes, nails, etc.
- Keeps survey crew vehicle organized; Maintains cleaning of survey instruments
Job Specification:
- Education: At least high school graduate
- Experience: One to two years of experience in the same capacity. Able to demonstrate the ability to establish project control through the use of benchmarks and control lines.
- Skills: Knowledge of survey equipment
9 – Driver (Project)
Drives service vehicles for company executives and employees assigned within the project.
- Drives company service vehicles for executives and employees to and from designated places
- Follows all safety measures when driving
- Ensures cleanliness of service vehicles
- Performs routine check (engine oil, water and warm-up) before vehicle usage
- Ensures that service vehicles assigned to them are in good working condition, monitoring schedule of preventive maintenance and recommends repair works when needed
- In-charge of vehicles registration with Land Transformation Office
- Replenish toll balance with expressway operators in a timely manner
- Apply for car stickers with subdivisions, export processing zones and other for easy access during trips.
Job Specification:
- Education: At least high school graduate.
- Experience: At least two years experience in the same capacity.
- Skills: With professional driver’s license.
